Results Berlin Auction 2015

One highlight of this year´s World Money Fair ended on the evening of January 29, 2015: our 10th Berlin Auction provided an array of exciting numismatic moments. The yields from the individual items are truly impressive.

The coins sold were estimated at € 6.5 million, total sale price came in at 8.6 million...a result which we owe to the efforts of nearly 900 bidders, whether through submitted bids, live telephone participation or that of the almost 300 who were in the floor. The results of the English coins were particularly impressive at a sale price of half a million Euro (60% above the estimate), as well as the Russian coins at a sale price of 2 million Euro, more than 40% above the estimate.
Further spectacular results were produced with coins from the Horn Collection, the total Hammer price was exactly at twice the estimate.
