Our Fall Auction Sales 372-377
26. - 30. September 2022 | Vienna House Remarque, Osnabrück
Dear bidders and coin enthusiasts,
we hope you can enjoy the summer and are happy to sweeten it a little bit with the presentation of our upcoming Fall Auction Sales.
As of now, all pieces from our fall auctions 372-378 are available for you to view online.
We have prepared six catalogs with a total of 4715 lots and a total estimate of 9 million euros for you. Since this volume cannot be achieved in a single week, the seven auctions are spread over two auction weeks:
From September 26-30, 2022, we will auction on Monday morning in Auction 372 Orders and Decorations of the German States, the Peter Groch Collection, Part 9 with rare and very rare objects of the First Slovak Republic from 1939 to 1945 as well as The Ottoman Collection, Part 5 mainly with Ottoman orders, decorations, miniatures, order buckles, certificates and groups of certificates. From Monday afternoon, coins and medals from the Medieval and Modern Times will follow (auctions 373-375). Included in the four catalogs are, among other things, gold coins from the collection of a Swedish-Swiss entrepreneur with a particularly large number of pieces from Sweden, Austria and Hungary, as well as the collection of the Verschoor brothers with coins of the Kingdom of Holland and Dutch medals. Selected Löser from the Popken Collection, the first part of the Dr. Hans-Jürgen Loos Collection with coins of Hesse and the Hessian region as well as a Franconian home collection with a comprehensive lot of Nuremberg are only a few of the themes that will dominate the first auction week.
The second auction week with coins from the Ancient World will also be held as a floor auction from October 18-20, 2022. The spectrum is particularly broad this time, because in addition to exclusive rarities from the Köhlmoos, "Alexander the Great" and the Collection of the North German historian enthusiast, Roman and Byzantine coins from the Salton Collection will also come onto the market. Following the floor auctions, more coins from the Salton Collection will be auctioned on 21 October as eLive Premium Auction 378 at www.elive-auction.de.
We hope you will enjoy studying the catalogs and, as usual, we will provide you with all kinds of background information on the individual collections in the coming weeks.
