The small and fragile object was originally rolled and enclosed in a capsule. Meshorer tried to decipher the difficult legible text: "This amulet is for Shimon, the son of Shapira against all [evils?] like the Satain, the evil eye, fever and chills, [especially against the Daemon who causes chills.
