Dear Bidders and Coin Enthusiasts, 

After five auction days our Spring-Auction came to an end on the evening of March 18, 2016. We are glad that we were able to welcome more than 350 bidders personally on the floor. We reached with the 5.700 lot numbers a total hammer price of 10.7 million euros (estimate 7.3 million euros). More than 3.000 bidders attended the auction.

Noteworthy was the impressive result of the coins from the Roman Empire with around 2.2 million euros (estimate: approx. 1.4 million euros). Another group of amazing results came from the many medieval rarities from Denmark, England and France. The ensemble of gold coins from the German Empire reached another remarkable total hammer price of 740,000 euros (estimate: approx. 570,000 euros).
