On Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m., we successfully concluded our 20th Berlin Sale - Auction #437— as part of the World Money Fair. The total hammer price of the auction ammounted to approximately 9.5 Million Euros (not including buyers premium), which was approximately 165% of the total estimate! 

We were particularly pleased that many bidders once again decided to take part in the sale in person. 

There was particularly strong demand for coins minted in Hamburg, Nuremberg, the Habsburg Empire and Russia. As usual, we have listed numerous highlights from today at the bottom of the newsletter. 

We would like to thank our bidders, consignors, and customers from all over the world for their loyalty and the trust they have placed in us!

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, we start the new auction year with our premium auction at the Hotel Estrel Berlin – traditionally held on the day before the World Money Fair. 

Look forward to 694 carefully selected top lots with a total estimated value of around 6 million Euros. Particularly noteworthy are the outstanding lots relating to Brandenburg-Prussia and the high-quality series from the German states and the Habsburg Empire. The offering is complemented by international rarities and a selection of rare medals and decorations – an ideal opportunity to expand your collection in a targeted manner.
