Ein weiteres Exemplar führt Dane Kurth in Wildwinds unter Gabala (Syria) auf (No. 99). Sie schreibt zu diesem Stück: "I am not sure of this attribution. The coin is not in Duyrat's work, nor in Babelon Rois, nor Babelon Satraps works. I also checked CoinArchivesPro using a number of filters. It is not Tabala, Lydia (...)."
Dane Kurth liest die Reverslegende als "ΓΑΒΑ-ΛΕΩΝ", allerdings ist der erste Buchstabe bei unserem Stück eindeutig ein Tau, kein Gamma, und dies scheint uns auch bei dem bei Wildwinds publizierten Stück der Fall zu sein, daher bleibt unserer Ansicht nach nur die Zuweisung an das lydische Tabala.

Dane Kurth reads the reverse legend as ΓΑΒΑ-ΛΕΩΝ, but the first letter on our piece is clearly a tau, not a gamma. This also seems to be the case regarding the piece published in Wildwinds. Therefore, we believe that the only remaining option is to assign it to the Lydian town of Tabala.
