Our eLive Auction 73

04. - 07. October 2022 | www.eLive-Auction.de

Dear bidders and coin enthusiasts,

our eLive Auction 73 is online. You can expect nearly 2,400 lot numbers of coins and medals from ancient to modern times over 4 auction days from October 4-7, 2022.

We start with coins from the ancient world, which include a small series of Republic denarii, including a coinage of L. Plautius Plancus with the Aurora depiction after the famous Nicomachus painting (Crawf. 453/1) (lot number 7020). In addition, we offer you a small series of Byzantine gold coins in pleasant qualities, including a solidus of Constans II and Constantinus IV, (lot number 7087) and a hyperpyron (scyphate) of John II (lot number 7093).

We would like to mention the small series with partly very rare coins of the USA among others 2 1/2 Dollars 1838 C (Charlotte) and 5 Dollars 1909 O (New Orleans). Afterwards we present a large collection of Brunswick-Luneburg coins with many Wildemann talers as well as an interesting collection of Hessian coins.

At the end of our auction days we offer an old collection of Saxon coins, including many beautiful thalers as well as a larger lot of silver coins from the Empire and the Weimar Republic.
