On 10 November 2025, we will offer a special collection of Chinese coins. It contains, among other things, the collection of a sinologist from an old family estate. Look forward to many rarities – from early Chinese cash coins to rarities of modern Chinese coinage.

We are offering seven comprehensive private collections of Coins from the Ancient World in our upcoming Winter Auction Sales.

From 7 to 9 October 2025, the first part of our Fall Auction Sales will be held. In addition to world coins and medals, the auctions feature several special collections on topics including Malta, the Ottoman Empire / Turkey and – presented in a separate catalog – the Henk Verschoor Collection with coins from the Dutch overseas territories.

Our two high-profile eLive Premium Auctions will take place from October 20 to 22, 2025. The first will feature the fourth part of the Beuth Collection, with an extensive selection of Dutch banknotes, including some rare items. The second will feature the Gerhard Lambert Collection, with coins and medals from Salzburg.

Twice the estimate – that was the result achieved by the lots of eLive Premium Auction 426. This outstandingly successful sale once again demonstrated that you do not need a traditional on-site auction to fetch high prices.

The hammer prices realized in our Summer Auction Sales 423-425 presenting various collections totaled 7.8 million euros. The sections focusing on Tyrol, Münster, the Fuggers and gold issues achieved impressive results. We present a few of the highlights.

On 7 and 8 July 2025, we will auction off about 900 lots of European coins and medals. The focus is on the Habsburg Empire and Germany, and there is a particularly large number of issues from Bavaria, Brandenburg-Prussia, Münster, Saxony and the German Empire. Lovers of medals will also find a rich selection. Moreover, a special collection focusing on sede vancante periods is spread throughout the auction.

In early July, we will present another highlight of the numismatic auction year. Over three days, numerous collections will be offered, including the important collection of issues from Tyrol assembled by Hermann Wohnlich. Other cues are Münster, Passau, the Fugger family, and gold.

Our eLive Auction comprises 2,104 lots with a wide range of around 4,500 printed works on numismatics from 1523 to the present day. A particular highlight is a collection of around 780 auction catalogs from before the mid-20th century, including some extremely rare auctioneers' copies. These contain handwritten notes from the auction houses on all pre-bids and bids, as well as the hammer prices and names of the successful bidders.

A total of 11 million euros were fetched in Osnabrück between 17 and 21 March 2025. The total result of the four auctions was thus 80% higher than the estimate. This review will focus on the three auctions with coins from medieval and modern times. We present the top five lots of these auctions as well as other exciting results from special collections.

Our spring auction sale 419 took place on March 17, 2025. The 638 selected lots of antique coins were estimated at a total of 2 million euros. After the auction, the result had doubled to around 4 million euros. We present the top five lots from Auction 419 as well as other exciting results.

Four days of our auction week are dedicated to medieval and modern issues. The sale features part 3 of the Beuth Collection with Dutch coins, part 2 of the collection on Württemberg’s minted history, and an extensive collection with issues from Anhalt. A spectacular selection of world coins and medals with a focus on Germany will also be on offer.

On 17 March 2025, we will hold our auction sale of ancient issues presenting 638 selected lots. Most of them are from the collection of a lawyer who took great care to ensure perfect quality and exquisite provenance whenever he bought a coin. The result: a dream collection. And his coins are not the only ones with pedigrees that go way back.

An impressive 10 million euros was the total estimate of our Berlin Auction Sale featuring 705 lots and kicking off the World Money Fair on 29 January 2025. The total result amounted to roughly 15 million euros – and included 27 lots with six-digit hammer prices!
